Today is Grandma's birthday too. We blew out candles together.

I am 6 months old today.

To celebrate, Mommy baked me half a chocolate cake.

Walking with Grandma

Yesterday, I participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk with Grandma and her friends.

Grandma must be famous. She was on tv.

I walked along Queens Boulevard. 

It was quite cold and windy but I finished the whole walk.

Afterwards I played while everyone ate. I love you Grandma!

Rawrrr

Daddy and I have games we love to play together. This is Rawrrrr....

I can play with my exersaucer, even when I'm not in it.

I'm so curious about everything. Exploring with my hands, eyes and mouth is so fun.

2nd Haircut... Already?!!

Can you believe I am 5 months old and I got my hair cut a second time last Saturday? Kudos to my girlfriend's husband (i know, it's complicated) who did the honors and made me look quite good. He used real barber scissors, a comb and took the time to get it just right. Kudos to my girlfriend who volunteered her husband unbeknownst to him.  :)  

I had so much fun playing together afterwards while I showed off my stylish mane. That evening, my girlfriend read me my bedtime book and song and I slept soooo soundly. What a good day! Pics from the day to come once Mommy learns how to download them from her phone. 

Sadly, nothing could be done to remedy the bangs Mommy gave me from the 1st haircut. 

Before my first haircut, my girlfriend thought my head was as big as my fro. She was surprised that my head was in fact small like an average baby's.   

Real Food

I ate my first taste of real food on Sunday. Uncle suggested I try so I wouldn't be iron deficient. I am glad he did cos I have been smacking my lips for several weeks whenever I would see Daddy and Mommy eat. 

As I do with all my food, I voraciously attacked the oatmeal. I even helped guide the spoon to my mouth.   

Sit up

Sitting up to play lets me see things from a different view. Mommy sits behind me in case I get bored and topple over, but I amaze her with my ability to bring my body back to its center of gravity. I love playing with the square cube and musical ball.

Stranger Anxiety: I have showed signs of stranger anxiety since last week. Daddy's friends came over to play with me and I wouldn't look away from their faces and cried until Daddy held me. Daddy and Mommy just laughed at me as I never acted this way before. I am okay with people I see weekly though.
